Head: thick head, long snout with a large nose bridge, two small mouths, fluffy cheeks and chin

Feet: flat feet, thick paws, unusually sharp claws, semi-retractable

Tail: starts off with no tail at all; a single tail grows around age 5. The second one grows around 15, then 35, then 50, then 75, if they live that long. Tails are long, sharp, with a heavy barb on the end. No poison, but the thud of the barb hitting often stuns prey. The sharp point is rough and often catches in the fur of its prey, much like a hook, enabling the Thul to pull their prey closer.

Disposition: calm, friendly, highly protective and watchful, territorial. Intelligence gets smarter the more thuls in the area, similar to a hive mind. Thuls have an unusual coordination while out hunting. A few hunters will drive prey towards other thuls, or provide distractions based on what they're hunting. Tactics change according to prey and larger thulian mobs will learn from mistakes made and compensate for them almost instantly.

Notes: due to their extremely short legs, thul cannot climb or jump easily. Their claws enable great traction for running, but they're better suited to tunnels and caves. Thul build large, interconnecting tunnels called warrens. The larger the thulian family, the bigger the area covered by these tunnels.
