Punk Moose

I need more cattle/deer/moose/pigs/sheep in my galaxy. This is a young calf, however. Probably male.

Bulls. Very large, stand about 8 feet tall at the shoulder, generally shades of reddish brown. Very large, curving tusks used for digging up roots and fending off predators. Very large, upright fluff tails, similar to a chicken's tail. Bulls have shorter, upstanding manes.

Cows. Slightly smaller than bulls, generally more gray with red than full red. Smaller tusks, but thicker legs and feet. Large udder can nurse up to 5 calves at a time, though rarely seen in the wild. Cows have longer, upstanding manes. During the winter, these manes can curve down along the neck on both genders. Cows have smaller tails than bulls.

A domesticated cow can throw 5 calves at a single time. Gestation period is nearly 16 months, or a year and a half. Wild cattle usually have only 3 calves in late spring.
