APPEARANCE
Madan stands about 6.4, unusually tall for an Althean, but he's always known him and his sister weren't fully human. His ears are ever so slightly pointed and despite how often he's outdoors, Madon has never tanned, not one bit. Maden's eyes are a solid blue, a perfect match with his dragon's eyes. He is lean, well built and very muscled. His hair is cropped along the sides and long along the top and down the back, which he keeps in a simple black ponytail. He has a small white stripe along the left side of his hair.
General Attire: Well-oiled, but simple leathers. Painstakingly hand-made by Madon himself. These keeps him well protected against basic bugs and wild animals (though didn't stand up much against a baby dragon worrying it to death)
Weapon of choice: two short swords, hanging on either side of his hips, as well as two small daggers hidden in his boots. He has a hidden set of throwing knives imbedded into his belt, which he can use with deadly accuracy.

PERSONALITY
Disposition: shy, rather studious, though he loves the outdoors, loves physical exercise. Madon is very kind to those he meets and rarely wears the clothes of a royal, preferring to stay anonymous.
Likes: hunting, enjoying time with his sister, Morgan, and training
Dislikes: idiots, mercenaries who's ONLY goal is money (Madon has morals)
Fears: never finding what happened to his parents
Quirks: he tends to jiggle his left foot when sitting, which causes no end of annoyance to Morgan
Abilities: wickedly talented with his weapons of choice, two short swords. The blades are black carbon with strange silver inscriptions along the blade. The hilt is simple brown leather and the butt-end has a small sapphire stone imbedded into it. Morgan made the blades capable of withstanding even a dragon's weight. (which an adolescent Cadal proved when the young dragon accidentally sat on them; only the hardened leather sheathes had to be fixed)

OTHER
Training: while Maden and his twin Morgan had the best training money could buy, Morgan always enjoyed how things worked rather than the practical application of weapons and other tools. Madonach, however, loved the swift dance that came with learning how to fight with two swords at once.

History: Madon's mother was found, half starved in the wake of one of the worst thunderstorms anyone had felt in years. The area around where she was had been torn apart, looking like a rampaging dragon had gone through the area. Though Grenna was barely scratched from the storm, the unconscious white elf was immediately taken to the local healers. For weeks, she didn't wake and the mystery of her origins only grew. When Grenna met the young lord of the land, Balin, they fell instantly in love and not even the rumors that she wasn't from this world could have swayed him. The only time Grenna used her wings was to save a pregnant dragger from a frothing river. The white bitch stayed at Grenna's side until the pups were born, and remained at her side until her death.

From the moment the twins were born, their parents knew they were different. Maden's hair had the customary icekin stripe down the left side of his thick, curly hair, while Morgan had it on the right. Maden was born 5 minutes after his twin sister, Morgan, though she was always the follower of the two. Looking so much alike, they did everything together, and loved being able to switch places with one another in training, chores and simply teasing friends and family. As they grew, they continued to train together and hunt together. After puberty, they no longer sounded the same, and as Morgan blossomed, it made it harder to play as one another. It didn't stop them from trying, however, much to the amusement of the servants.

After they stopped imitating one another and began their own lives, Morgan let her hair grow out, though she continued to keep it pulled back, due to her loved profession of blacksmith. Their father, Balin, only smiled when other nobles said a hunter and a blacksmith weren't becoming professions of nobility. Madon was taught all the lessons of ruling in his father's stead when it came time, and he learned easily, quickly becoming a needed aide to Lord Balin.

Quite often, Balin and his children would go hunting in the nearby forest, though rarely did they cross the borders into Althea proper, preferring to hunt the kitrell on their own land. As a result, Madon enjoys the simple things in life. Balin never insisted on them living in the heart of the city, giving them the run of the woodsman's lodgings just outside the city of Sothcair.

Not too soon after the twins' 18th birthday, the city was attacked by hordes of imps, boglins (water goblins), and mercenaries. The city was nearly destroyed, and his parents were killed, or at least, deemed unknown. The only thing Maden was able to do was flee. He took Morgan and fled across the border, hoping to find sanctuary in the nearby cities, but no city would allow them entry. The poorer villages, Morgan refused to ask for help, seeing as the people had little enough to spare.

They have been in exile for 5 years, and one day Madon hopes to return home and find closure with his parents' deaths. Morgan and him have settled in a tiny one-room house in Diagrove itself. Morgan trains under a blacksmith not far away, though she is fully capable of opening her own shop as her skills are actually better than the master blacksmith himself. Madonach does odd jobs for his neighbors, but is well known as a mercenary for hire, often protecting merchants to and from various villages.

All that stopped when he was escorting a noble's son to the hatching grounds in the Diagrove Castle. Being suddenly bonded to a dragon of Althea has set back his plans and he is unsure if he belongs in Althea now, or if he should still return home to an uncertain future.
